SAFEHOUSE’s “Boost Your IT Over Coffee” Event was held on 21st August 2019 at Starbucks TTDI, echoing the theme of getting more tasks done in less time with IT automation. The event was attended by some of the most influential IT managers in the Klang Valley from the construction, insurance, finance, and education sectors.
Our Senior Vice President, Mr. Eric Cheong, delivered an opening address about the benefits and features of Microsoft Office 365, a productivity suite that can help companies digitally transform their operation by promoting better communication and collaboration among employees. A keynote address was then given by the Managing Director of Integricity Group, Mr. Chui Joo Seng, who discussed about the importance of IT automation to accelerate IT service delivery.
According to Chui, “As companies rely more on data analytics and applications, it’s crucial that the endpoints and networks they run on are always available. However, most companies often face the difficulty of choosing the right solution that fulfils the complete IT automation needs of a complex system without breaking the bank. As a result, they were left with no choice but to manage the task manually, increasing the chances of human error and wasted opportunities for high-value work.” He went on to say, “To ensure business goals are being met while maximizing end user productivity, you will need a robust solution that improves your service delivery and increase IT efficiency, and Kaseya products allows you to achieve the objective through its powerful management and automation capabilities.”
Chui’s session was followed by a technical demonstration of Kaseya Unified Backup – a powerful, all-in-one appliance-based platform that offers backup, ransomware protection, cloud-based storage and business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) features. The audience was impressed by the technology, which resulted in many questions asked during the demonstration and even well after the event ended.
Giving the final word to Eric Cheong, “Our event at Starbucks TTDI was a great success.. We see there’s a lot of momentum in the industry and there is a very clear need for intuitive and innovative software solutions such as Kaseya and Microsoft Office 365. It’s exciting because we are filling a gap in the market , and I am happy to say that we are providing the tools the industry needs at an affordable price.”
